  Niall JohnstonB.D.S Q.U.B. 99

  Niall studied dentistry at Queens University Belfast and graduated with a BDS in 1999. He completed his vocational training in a family dental practice in Omagh before joining Maine Dental Practice in 2000. He has enjoyed continuing to work there since and became a partner in 2016.

  Niall is known for his gentle approach to dentistry and has built up a good relationship with his patients over many years of working in general practice. He likes to keep up to date with continual training and has an interest in modern techniques in dentistry.

  Niall is married with two children and in his spare time enjoys general fitness having competed in half marathons, triathlons and more recently the Tough Mudder in Dublin.

  Jonathan McKeownB.D.S Q.U.B. 02

  Jonny studied dentistry at Queens University Belfast graduating in 2002. He is very much a local who grew up in Ballymena and attended school at Ballymena Academy. He completed his foundational dental training in a busy, family centred dental practice in Co Tyrone and continued to work there for a further three years before moving back to his hometown. He has now been working in Maine Dental since 2006 becoming a partner in 2016.

  Jonny particularly enjoys the family relationships that can be built up in general practice over time and gets satisfaction from helping to make each patients dental experience a positive one.

  Jonny is married to Emma and enjoys spending time with his four young children, getting on his bike, and following most sports, particularly rugby and golf.

  Mark ConnaughtyB.D.S Q.U.B. 09

  Being from the Ballymena area, Mark attended Ballymena Academy where, having completed his A levels in 2004, was accepted to study Dentistry at Queens University Belfast.

  Mark completed his BDS degree and graduated in 2009 going on to complete his Vocational Training year at Ormeau Dental Care, where he continued on as an associate for a further 3 years.

  Returning to live in Ballymena with his wife Katie and a young expanding family, Mark was delighted to accept an associate position at Maine Dental Practice, starting in Sept 2013. In January 2016 Mark became a partner In Maine Dental, along with Jonny and Niall.

  Mark enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but especially Crown and Bridge work, Root Canal Treatments and Cosmetic (white) fillings.

  Away from work Mark enjoys playing golf, indoor football and going to the gym. He also enjoys spending time in Portstewart with Katie and their four kids.
