NHS Treatment

Maine Dental is committed to providing NHS treatment if possible. NHS registration lasts only 24 months from your last appointment.

Private Treatment

Some treatments are only available privately:

  • Tooth Whitening

Teeth can become stained or darkened over a period of time due to a number of factors such as age, smoking, or drinking tea and red wine. If you are brushing and flossing twice a day, but still feel that your smile is not as bright as you would like, then our professional teeth whitening treatment may be of an interest to you.

  • Cosmetic Crowns

A crown is a fixed prosthetic device that is most commonly used to improve the strength, colour, shape or alignment of a tooth. A crown is cemented on to natural teeth or implants and unlike dentures is not removable. At Maine Dental we use the best laboratories to ensure our crowns appear as natural and lifelike as is possible.

    From £280

  • Cosmetic Bridges

A bridge is used to fill a space where one or more teeth may be missing. A bridge is cemented on to natural teeth or implants and unlike dentures is not removable. At Maine Dental we use the best laboratories to ensure our bridgework appears as natural and lifelike as is possible.

  • CoCr Dentures

Dentures are removable appliances made to replace either all the missing teeth in an arch (complete denture) or some missing teeth (partial denture). They are supported by the soft and hard tissues of the mouth. The framework is made of metal (CoCr) with false teeth supported on it. They can improve appearance, eating and speech.

    From £400

  • Acrylic Denture

Dentures are removable appliances made to replace either all the missing teeth in an arch (complete denture) or some missing teeth (partial denture). They are supported by the soft and hard tissues of the mouth. The framework is made of acrylic (plastic) with false teeth supported on it. They can improve appearance, eating and speech.

  • White Fillings

A White filling has many benefits over old traditional Amalgam fillings. The reason most patients prefer a white filling is for better aesthetics, and as the composite material comes in numerous shades, it can be matches to the natural tooth colour. This is especially important if the filling can be seen when smiling.
